Grasshopper Tennis

WALT: improve our small ball skills and racket control skills.

I can balance and move the tennis ball on my racket.

I made some smothies
I didn't have vanilla ice cream so I used chocolate ice cream
(The ice cream is to make it creamier but you don't have to use ice cream )
1 Banana
1 scop Ice cream (if you want to don't have to)
Cut the banana  and put it in the blender
Put your 1 scop of ice cream if you want ice cream...
Then put your milk about 1/9

WALT: summarise what we read

 Success Criteria:

What have you learned? Not to copy the text when I write a summary.
Why is it important? because so we learn to summarise and understand.
How are you going to use what you have learned?  I can help other people summarise.
What is your next learning step? To remember what summariseing is (because somtimes I forget)
You are able to find and retell the main ideas during group discussions. When working with a buddy you need to remember to summarise the entire text. Sometimes that means you need to read it several times so you can be sure you have the main ideas. You can chat with your buddy to make sure you agree on the main ideas.

Kinetic and potential movie

WALT: create an i-movie to demonstrate kinetic and potential energy

How will we know our movie is successful?
ü   clear camera work (thinking about the sun, keeping the camera still-moving slowly, in focus)
ü   clear voices and image (volume, wind, background noises, mumbling)
ü clear message - might need to explain the images (text to match the words, is the science correct?)

Reflective Prompts:
I now know: what Kinetic and potential energy is because I did not really know but now I know. (remember potential energy is stored energy and kinetic energy is the energy of movement)
I enjoyed: 
The most difficult was: Choosing the idears that the group had because all the idears were really great!
Working with my group was: Ok because some of the group like one peoson wants to show the Kinetic and potential movie over at the slide and then the rest of the group wants to do it at the swings so it was a bit hard to chosie and also about the sun.

What a fantastic movie. You are clearly showing your understanding of kinetic and potential energy. You should be very proud of how you have grown as a scientist. You can use a model to show your learning and explore and explain what happens in our world using your new understandings... like how a puffer jacket keeps us warm and why we use ice to keep our drinks cold.

 How do you feel about your integrity movie? Great because it is all finished. 
 What parts of it do you particularly like and why? I like when Bridget bangs in the wall because it is really really really really funny but i'm glade she did not heart her self.

You and your group have created a movie demonstrating integrity. You have used the success criteria to help you and have a clear message... 'integrity is doing the right thing even when nobody is watching". You have even managed to make it funny to help engage your audience.
Remember to reflect on your learning rather than the task. Think about how your movie is showing integrity and what you have learned about integrity.
